In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

The surf was just too rough to fish yesterday and more of the same today. Looking at the pier cams this morning, I saw 3 Trucks sitting huddle together south of Avalon pier. I would not put my truck on the beach this morning for love or money. Well, maybe for a Drum.

The winds are N at 24 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Rough Ocean, showers, windy.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, bottom fish and Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A yearling Drum.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Slow.

Outer Banks: A Citation Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

A few inshore boats fished and caught their usual Trout, Drum and Striped Bass.

Offshore Boats Report:
Due to yesterdays conditions the fleet stayed home.
