In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

A beautiful day on this sand bar. There were plenty in the slot Puppy Drum caught from the surf yesterday. Some Croakers, Mullet and Black Drum as well.

 

The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Sun is shining, calm winds, small clean swells and the water looks like coffee.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout some keepers, a few keeper Bass, small Drum and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Black Drum and Croaker.

Nags Head: Croakers and a couple of Trout.

Jennette’s: A 44 in Red Drum and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Slow.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore anglers reported Amberjack and Albacore. Inshore decked Stripers, Drum and Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
A good day for the Bluewater fleet catching Big-eye weighing up to 119 lbs, 40 lb Wahoo, some Yellowfin and plenty Blackfin. Also there were 2 sailfish releases.
