In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing was good overall yesterday with nice Trout, Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum and Bluefish caught from the surf.

 

The winds are W at 7 and the water temp is 69 degrees. Sun is shining, calm winds, small swells, water is pretty flat.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Drum, Flounder and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Sea Mullet and Black drum.

Nags Head: Trout and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Speckle Trout, Black Drum, Sand Perch, Pompano, Spot and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Trout, Sea Mullet, Pompano, Bluefish and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Near shore angles decked Drum, Bluefish, Trout and, Flounder. Sound boats can’t ask for better fishing catching limits of Drum, Trout and Stripers and Flounder as well.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Good number of boats fished from Oregon Inlet yesterday and it was a stellar day. Lots of Black Drum, Yellowfin, and limits of Mahi. Also White Marlin releases.
