In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

There was a mix bag was caught from the surf. Some Bluefish, Trout, Black Drum, Spot, Pompano and a big Red at Oregon Inlet. I did not hear of a Puppy Drum caught yesterday but this morning I know one has been caught in S. Nags Head.

 

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 69 degrees. Partly cloudy, little wind, flat Ocean with ripples.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Drum, Stripers and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout.

Nags Head: Trout, Spot and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Black Drum, Flounder, Pompano, Trout, Bluefish and Spot.

Outer Banks: Pretty Mullet, Black Drum, 16 in flounder, Trout and good size Spot.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught a variety of fish naming Spanish, Bluefish, King Mackerel and False Albacore. Inshore caught Bluefish, Stripers, Trout and Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Nice weather and good fishing for the fleet. They returned with their boxes full of Yellowfin, Blackfin, Dolphin and Wahoo. Also a Sailfish release
