Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing anglers are catching Spot, small Trout, Pompano and Black Drum. Mike King caught a good mess of Bluefish in KDH.
The winds are SE at 7 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, calling for pm showers, calm Ocean, light wind.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout, Stripers, Drum and Flounder.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Pompano, Trout and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Blues and Spanish off the end, Trout and Spot.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Pompano, Black Drum and Spot
Outer Banks: Blues and a 22 in Puppy Drum.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats caught a tremendous amount of Bluefish. Inshore had good catches of Trout, Stripers and some Drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught good number of Blackfin, some Yellowfin, scattered Dolphin, citation Wahoo and a Mako.
