In Summary:

 

 

We had high winds last night and early morning moving my chairs and trash can all over the place. Expecting thunder storms today.

 Scattered Bluefish, Black Drum, Spot and Trout were caught along the beaches yesterday.

 

The winds are SW at 18 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Soggy day, high winds, large swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish, Trout and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout.

Nags Head: Plenty Trout and some Blues.

Jennette’s: Specks, Bluefish, Black Drum and 1 Red Drum.

Outer Banks: 2 Puppy Drum 22 and 23 inches, 17 in Trout, Blues and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Bluefish were plentiful nearshore and inshore caught Trout, Red Drum and Blues. Limits of Stripers were caught in the Inlet

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The blue water fleet laid out on the docks plenty of Blackfin, some Yellowfin, Wahoo and Dolphin.
