In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

A few Trout, Bluefish, Puppy Drum and a really nice Pompano.

 

The winds are E at 5 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Cloudy, small swells, light winds.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, keeper Puppies and small bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Puppy Drum and Black Drum.

Nags Head: Trout and Blues.

Jennette’s: Blues, Trout, Black Drum and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Good run of Trout early morning, Black Drum and Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught an abundant of Blues, Albacore and limits of King Mackerel. The inlet boats caught their limits of Stripers. Sound anglers are catching Stripers, Trout and Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore fishing returned to normal Friday with the fleet catching their limits of Yellowfin, plenty Blackfin, and Wahoo weighing up to 78 lbs.
