Surf Fishing Report:
A good amount of nice Sea Mullet on all the south beaches. Sand fleas were the bait of choice in Frisco. Also a few Bluefish scattered. The Point added one big Drum to the mix and also has some slot Drum.

We have Trout, Sea Mullet and small Bluefish north of the inlet.
The winds are SW at 14 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Flat water, cloudy day.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported plenty Stripers and Trout. A few keeper Trout were caught.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: A few Gray Trout, some Speckle Trout and Sea mullet.

Nags Head: Gray Trout, Speckle Trout, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Trout fishing is really good in the sound. Lots of Stripers and plenty Bluefish also caught.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught large quantities of Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin, some Blackfin, Wahoo and 2 Big-eye Tunas. There was 1 White Marlin release.
