In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing slowed considerably from the surf yesterday. A few Sea Mullet, Blues and Croakers and the big Drum Scott Minerva caught in S. Nags Head.

 

The winds are NE at 16 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Overcast, rain in the forecast, windy, choppy Ocean

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Drum, Black Drum and Croakers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Black Drum, Bluefish and Sharks.

Nags Head: Trout and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Black Drum, Pompano, Bluefish and Speckle Trout.

Outer Banks: Trout, Gray Trout and Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught Stripers. The Inlet boats had good catches of Puppy Drum and Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught lots of Wahoo Blackfin, Gaffer Dolphin and Big-eye. Multiple releases of White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish.
