In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

A few scattered Black Drum and Sea Mullet were caught. Overall slow.

A reminder for our Holiday fisherman. To keep a Black Drum the slot size is

14-24in 10/day. One Black Drum per person per day over 25” TL allowed. Everyone should have in their possession a fish regulation sheet. You can down load it on your cell phone. You do not want to get hit with a stiff fine for a no keeper fish. If the fish is not a fish you are going to keep, take your picture quickly and get the fish back in the water.

The winds are NW at 5 and the water temp is 60 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, small swells, dirty water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum and Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Trout and Flounder.

Nags Head: Trout and Blues.

Jennette’s: Trout, Sand Perch, Sea mullet and Black Drum.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Hallelujah, I have fishing report this morning. Nearshore boat anglers decked Sea Bass, Albacore and Bonita. Inshore had good catches of Sea Bass, Triggers and Bluefish. Sound fishing is also good with Trout, Drum and Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
A good day for the offshore boats catching some Mahi, some Wahoo, a few Yellowfin and lots Blackfin and lots King Mackerel as well. There also was a White Marlin release.
