Surf Fishing Report:
Big Drum were caught again at the cape. Sea Mullet is still the fish of the day and there is some big uns. Citation size. All the beaches caught Sea Mullet and Blow Toads. Buxton caught Bluefish as well.

Bluefish, Blow Toads and Sea Mullet north of the inlet. The water has cleared for the Trout fishermen and should be some nice pan size Bluefish caught.

The winds are N at 11 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Cloudy and expecting rain.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway was the hot spot yesterday. Trout fishing was really good and some anglers caught their limits. There were a couple of 4 pounders caught. Lots of throwback Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Bluefish, Shad, Gray Trout, Speckle Trout and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and some keeper Trout.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Gray Trout and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Bluefish

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Speckle Trout fishing continues to be good.  And boaters are catching and releasing many Rockfish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Dolphin were plentiful again yesterday despite the weather. I think I shall make a trip to the fish market today.
