Fishing Report:
There was an occasional Drum along our beaches with a few Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Anglers are catching double header Sea Mullet in Rodanthe. I received Erin Whites Sea Mullet picture this morning at 7:30 by phone. All the beaches south of the bridge are landing some nice size Sea Mullet. Avon added Bluefish to the mix and Frisco added Trout. Buxton reported Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s Pier caught Gray Trout, small Bluefish and Sea Mullet yesterday. Avalon caught Bluefish, Puppies and Sea Mullet.
Anglers are decking some Stripers around the bridges and Trout fishing is fair in the sound.
The offshore fleet caught Wahoo and Blackfin.
The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 556 degrees. It’s a gray day, not much wind, small messy surf.
