Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing slowed yesterday. Wind and rain was a big problem. A few Blow Toads and Sea Mullet were scattered on island beaches. Bluefish were caught at the point on cut bait.

We have Trout, Bluefish and Sea mullet. Large Black Drum have been reported in Nags Head and also a 7 ¾ # caught in KDH.  Dillon caught a keeper Flounder using a gulp alive swimming mullet. I am glad pictures are coming in. I am more than ready. Please state your name when you send them. Your telephone address and e-mail address does not always give me a clear name.

The ocean is really rough this morning. It should start improving later today and the weekend looks good.

The winds are NW at 3 and the water temp is 59 degrees. Yahhh! I see sun. Wait! It’s gone.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway caught plenty of Trout yesterday and probably only 6 keepers in all. Stripers were released and a few Bluefish were caught on artificial lures.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet

Nags Head: Bluefish and Trout. Good Bluefish bite last night.

Jennette’s: No report.

Outer Banks: Gray Trout and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats Report:
No Report.

Offshore Boats Report:
A few offshore boats braved the weather yesterday and were awarded some Yellowfin, a Blackfin and a few Dolphin. There was a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish release.
