Surf Fishing Report:
Yesterday was beautiful day and the surf fishing was spectacular. Sea Mullet was everywhere with several citations and Bluefish as well. Frisco had some small Pompano and Hatteras added Flounder. A big Drum was caught just before dark at the Cape.

Scattered Sea Mullet and Bluefish on the north beaches. Marcia Branner caught a good size Pompano at ramp 4. That is one pretty fish.

The wind is WSW at 11 and the water temp is 57 degrees. A warm sunny day, flat surf and the water is muddy.


Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a slow down but a few Trout this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Gray Trout and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Blow Toads and Croakers.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Open boats caught 2-3 lb Bluefish, some Trout, Flounder and Striper releases. Miss Oregon Inlet, the headboat is now sailing

Offshore Boats Report:
27 boats sailed yesterday. Dolphin catches have been phenomenal this week. Really nice Yellowfin were caught. 400 lb Blue Marlin and 2 white Marlins were released. Pirates Cove added a couple of Wahoo to the mix.
