Fishing Report:
The Drum bite was good from the point to Hatteras yesterday. Lots of slot Drum and some over the slot Drum were beached. There were also Trout caught as well. Shrimp and jigs were some of the bait of choice. It is not unusual to catch a Drum on a Trout rig. Apart from a good bite it was also a beautiful day on the beach.
Jennette’s Pier anglers caught Dogfish and Sharks.
The winds are S at 20 and the water temp is 42 degrees. Rain, warm day, med surf, windy
