Surf Fishing Report:
The Sea Mullet bite is still good. Zane Harper and Riley Stokes caught their share in Avon. Ramp 43 and 44 beached big Sea Mullet and added keeper Pompano to the catch. Hunter McWhorten caught big Sheepshead fishing the jetties. Frisco reported Puppy Drum.

On this side of the Bridge there are Bluefish. Kitty Hawk caught nice Sea Mullet. Justin Medeiros caught a keeper Puppy Drum in Nags Head. Slot size for Puppy Drum is 18 to 27. One a day. If you don’t have a regulation sheet, pick up one from the store or order one on line.

The winds are SE at 7 and the water temp is 64 degrees. The wind is light, water is calm and clear. Sun is shining.


Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway caught Black Drum from under the bridge. No keepers. They have to be 14 inches. A keeper Flounder was caught. This morning, a few Trout, some keepers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish bite has been really good this week. Anglers are catching with Gotcha’S, metal and bucktails and having a great time.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Bluefish catches were plentiful again for inshore. Our store weighed in a Cobia yesterday. There was a huge Cobia caught out of Hatteras weighing in at 116.2 pounds. It fell 4 oz short of beating the state record.

Offshore Boats Report:
Good Numbers of Yellowfin, Blackfin were caught offshore and plenty of Dolphin also.

Several Sailfish were released.
