Surf Fishing Report:
Big Sea Mullet are scattered from Avon to Hatteras. Buxton laid claim to a 40 in Cobia caught near the jetties and there is good Sheepshead and Black Drum fishing also at the jetties. Frisco added Puppy Drum with the Sea Mullet and Hatteras caught Drum and Flounder.

There were Bluefish on our beaches yesterday with a few Sea Mullet mixed in. Dean Eich caught his in KDH. (Picture). There will be more of the same today.

The winds are SW at 4 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Early heavy fog every morning. A little overcast. Water has small swells.


Sound Fishing Report:

 An angler on the Little Bridge caught a 5 lb Speck this morning. Lots of throwbacks.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Sea Mullet and some Trout.

Nags Head: Bluefish and some Spanish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The Inlet boat caught some Spanish and lots of Bluefish. Miss Oregon Inlet sailed and caught Sea Mullet, Spot, pigs and pins.


Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet brought in Blackfin, Yellowfin, nice catches of Dolphin, some gaffers and Cobia.
