The ocean is still furious and it is a spectacular sight to watch. The good news Highway 12 has open between Bonner Bridge and Rodanthe. There will still be overwash at high tide so watch out for sand and water.
The winds are NW at 12 and the water temp is 43 degrees. Scattered showers, gloomy morning, expecting sun PM, big Ocean, windy.
