Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet and Bluefish catches on all the south beaches. Buxton added Pompano and Spanish to the mix and Frisco also had Puppy Drum.

The north beach’s caught Bluefish. There are people do not like Bluefish because of the strong flavor. When I started fishing the Outer Banks one of the first tips I received from a local was to soak the pan size Bluefish in milk and a little soy sauce.  “It don’t get any better than that”.

The winds are NE at 6 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Chilly day, sun is shining and the water is flat but choppy.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish. Caught Spanish and a 25 in Drum on Sunday. Conditions are the same today.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats decked plenty of Bluefish, some Spanish and Cobia. Inshore anglers decked Sea Mullet, Bluefish and lots of Speckle Trout releases.

Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the winds the fleet made it out yesterday and had no trouble finding some fish. The brought in Dolphin and Yellowfin. There were 2 Sailfish releases.
