In Summary:

Fishing Report:
The wind was still gusting 30 yesterday and the water temperature is still hanging below 50 degrees.
The fishing news is improving. The Cape had Puppy Drum and Bluefish and there were also few Sheepshead and Spot. Avon had Puppy Drum as well. There were some Blow Toads and Sea Mullet at ramp 48 and 49. The good news is an 18 in Trout was caught from Avalon surf yesterday. Couldn’t keep it but its still good news.
The Little Bridge is catching Stripers and there have been small Trout and undersize Puppy Drum reported there this week.
OBX Pier had a great day yesterday catching Sea Mullet all day. Buckets full. Also reported Croakers, Spot and Blow Toads.
Avalon also had a good day catching Puffers and Sea Mullet. Today some mullet, Shad and Skate.
Jennette’s Pier caught the same, but catching Skate this morning.
Nags Head Pier is slow. They are still working on the pier.
Offshore had a good day catching Yellowfin with some Wahoo Reported.

The winds are SW at 17 and the water temp is 48 degrees. Partly cloudy, nice day, flat Ocean, breezy.
