In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report
We have had a beautiful week with no rain and warm temperatures. There have been Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Puppies reported on the beaches in Buxton and Frisco. If you are a Red Drum fisherman you have been a happy angler this season. There was another good Drum bite reported at point.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, some Trout and Shad.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluesfish.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Spot.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Croaker.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report.

Offshore Boats Report:
The month of May really has started with a bang for the bluewater anglers. The Blackfin were plentiful yesterday and the Mahi bite was over the top with lots of gaffers. There was also a Wahoo caught and 2 Sailfish releases.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 52 degrees. Sunny, flat Ocean, breezy.
