Charter guys:

May 23rd –Sept 30

Can possess 7 days a week

4 fish per vessel 37 in

Recreational Guys:

Can possess Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

2 fish per vessel 37 “

 

Surf Fishing Report:
The weather was better yesterday and the fishing improved some. From the beach at ramp 44 there was a 50 in Red Drum, caught plus Bluefish, Pompano and Sea Mullet. Frisco and Avon had Sea Mullet.

North of the Inlet there were some Blues and Sea Mullet in the Coquina beach area.

The winds are NE at 6 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Wind has laid down, water is still clear but choppy. Sun is shining.
 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway a few keeper Trout, lots of little ones and someone caught a keeper Flounder yesterday.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Speckle Trout, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish on gotchas.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats caught good numbers of Sea Mullet and Bluefish.  Despite the cold day and cold water, Miss Oregon Inlet caught some nice Sea Mullet, good amount of Bluefish and Pigs and Pins.


Offshore Boats Report:
Six offshore boats made it out yesterday and returned with Yellowfin, some weighing in at 40 lbs. Dolphin with gaffers included. 1 Sailfish release.
