In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:
It was a perfect spring day and the fishing did not disappoint. Out at Cape Point big Drum were released and Bluefish on metal were caught. Bluefish and Sea Mullet were on all the south beaches. Hatteras added Puppy Drum and nice Pompano added to the mix. Frisco beaches had Pompano as well. From our beaches there are Bluefish, some large Bluefish, Trout, and there have been lots of Black Drum reported especially south of Jennette’s Pier.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Black Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet
Nags Head: Sea Mullet and 6-7 lb Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Blues, Sea Mullet and lots of Skate.
Outer Banks: Spot, small Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers had fantastic catches of Bluefish. Cobia were also reported.

Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater fleet had another good Big-eye day catching several trophies. Good size Dolphin with some gaffers, Blackfin and Tilefish. A private boat weighed in some Tautog

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 56 degrees. Sunny, flat Ocean, muddy water, breezy.
