In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:
We have had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend. We should remember what it is all about and thank all our veterans.
Bluefish, Spanish and Sea Mullet were caught on the south beaches with some Pompano in Frisco and Puppy Drum in Hatteras add to the mix. On the north beach’s Ocean temperature is really cold and it has hindered the pier and surf fishing.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Spot fishing, Black Drum, Stripers and Trout.
There were Sheepshead reported caught from the Bonner Bridge catwalk.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: A good run of Sea Mullet and some Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inhore and nearshore had an awesome day catching Cobia, Spanish, Bonita, Tilefish and Sea Bass.

Offshore Boats Report:
Another beautiful day for the offshore fleet catching Yellowfin, Bigeye and Dolphin with some gaffers. There were also White and Blue Marlin releases.

The winds are SE at 6 and the water temp is 53 degrees. Sunny, flat Ocean, calm winds.
