Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spanish were reported in Avon. Buxton had the same with some flounder. Frisco had Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were caught in Hatteras. Scattered sea Mullet and Bluefish on our beaches. The good news Trout season opens tomorrow. You can keep 4 a day, 14 inch min length.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some whopper Black Drum caught yesterday and I have a picture this morning. The bridge anglers also caught Spot, throwback Trout and Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Starting slow with Spades and flounder and Bluefish. Big Spanish bite from 4 to 7 yesterday.
Nags Head: Lots of Spanish as I Speak. 9 Am. With some Blues.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Spadefish.
Outer Banks: Bluefish on artificial lures. Spot and Croakers. Had big Spanish catches yesterday.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore had good catches of Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore boats catching some Flounder and Sea Mullet in the channels.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet laid out some nice Yellowfin and Mahi on the docks. Also a Blue Marlin release.

The winds are NW at 14 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, flat Ocean, breezy, showers expected, wind switch this afternoon.
