Surf Fishing Report:
All the south beaches caught Sea Mullet and Bluefish. The Jetties and Hatteras beach added Flounder. A 45 in Drum was caught at Ramp 44.

Surf fishing anglers are catching Sea Mullet and Bluefish up and down on our beaches.  An occasional Trout.
The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Big warm up today, no rain until the weekend, SW winds have the surfers out this morning and plenty of dog walkers.  
 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reporting Small Trout and Black Drum for the bottom fishermen.
Nine year old Catherine Johnson caught a large Bull Catfish on the Manns Harbor side of the sound between the 2 bridges. Catherine was using a simple rig with shrimp. Good show.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, a 16 in one, Bluefish, Mullet and a couple of Skate.

Nags Head: Bluefish and Trout off the end of the pier.

Jennette’s: Blues and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Tons of Sea Mullet early morning. Some Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The inshore boats are decking nice size bluefish, some Trout and releasing Stripers.

Offshore Boats Report:
The good Dolphin bite continues. Plenty of gaffers. Yellowfin and Blackfin included.  There was a Sailfish and White Marlin release.
