Surf Fishing Report:
There were some fish caught though the conditions were not the best. Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Pompano and some Spanish added in Hatteras. Nothing reported from our beaches. The water and wind is a hindrance more so today. The ocean has muddied up and I understand there is grass in S. Nags Head. Today might be a day to try your luck on the causeway. There is the ever popular Little Bridge and the Wild Life pier across from Pirates Cove and also a Nags Head gazebo.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Flounder, Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Spanish early. Triggers and Spades.
Nags Head: Spanish, Blues, Triggers and Spades.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Spot, Spadefish, Croaker and Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: Heavy grass. Nothing caught. Hasn’t hit the other piers yet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore trolling boats decked Bluefish and Spanish and inshore had Flounder, Croakers and Sea Mullet. There also some Trout reported in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
Only a few boats left the docks yesterday and the ones that did were well rewarded. They caught Yellowfin, Wahoo, good catches of Dolphin and a 110 lb Bigeye.

The winds are ESE at 14 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Overcast, rough surf, windy.
