Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet and Pompano was the fish to catch yesterday on the south beaches. There were Sea Mullet scattered on our beaches. A couple of good size Drum were released north of the inlet at ramp 4. It certainly was nice to hear of some rod bending fish caught.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Croaker, Specks and good Flounder fishing. One angler reported catching 5 nice size Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish, Bluefish, Mullet, Spot and 2 keeper Flounder.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Spadefish.
Outer Banks: Spanish and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
It was a good day on the water for nearshore anglers catching Bluefish, good size Spanish, Ribbon fish and also found some Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet had good weather Thursday and it certainly paid off with some good fishing. Yellowfin, Mahi, Wahoo and Big eye Tuna were decked. Plenty Tilefish and Sea Bass for the bottom fishing. There were White and blue Marlin releases.

The winds are N at 5 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny, small swells, calm winds.
