Surf Fishing Report:
I’m back! I thank everyone for the notes of concern. I did not have another knee to replace so it was only a computer glitch this time. The weather is so wretched. If it had to happen it couldn’t have happened at a better time. We have flooded streets and of course the traffic is tough because our visitors aren’t on the beach. CMIT having brought my computer back to life dropped it off for me to pick up at the Kitty Hawk store. The lane on the west side of the bypass road was completely covered with rain water. Traveling south I had to straddle the middle lane and it was bumper to bumper traffic. I’m glad I work from home as most of you know. I did make one discovery doing this time. I found my morning coffee wasn’t all that great when I am not writing the fishing report.
A few anglers have been fishing the piers off and on and catching some small Croakers. The Little Bridge had a few small Sheepshead, Black Drum and Spade fish. There were some Bluefish reported from the surf in the Buxton area.
The winds are SW at 8 this morning and the water temp is 63 and light winds. That is some improvement from yesterday. The swells are clean this morning. We had early morning heavy rain and more heavy rain expected. Another day to shop. Stop in the Store and let our knowledgeable staff help you with any fishing gear you might be interested in.

A video to watch. Flooded streets in Duck.
