Surf Fishing Report:
We have rain this morning and it’s expected throughout most of the day. Surf fishing improved some yesterday with Sea Mullet and Bluefish reported in Avon and Buxton and Hatteras and Frisco having the same with some Pompano added. A few Sea Mullet were caught north of the Inlet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow. When there is a break in the weather there should be some Trout, Stripers and bottom fish caught. I’m surprise I haven’t heard of some Catfish.

Pier Fishing Report:
No one on the piers at this time. We have a little thunder going on right now. The pier jockeys will be out when we have a break in the weather.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The inshore boats caught Trout, Sheepshead, some keeper Flounder and some nice size Drum. The nearshore had decent Bluefish catches.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet finally made it out yesterday. There was a significant number of White and Blue Marlin flags flying and good catches of Dolphin and Tilefish a well.

The winds are W at 8 and the water temp is 62 degrees. Showers/thunder storms, clean swells, light winds.
