Surf Fishing Report:
The fishing improved yesterday on the south beaches with Avon catching some Puppy Drum, Spot and Sea Mullet. Buxton and Frisco had Sea Mullet and Pompano. Frisco and Hatteras had nice Bluefish as well. Bob Leitner caught a nice Drum in Nags Head.  There was some scattered Sea Mullet on our beaches.
Getting in and out of TW’s got a little tricky Sunday afternoon with all of the flooding. Couldn’t tell where the road ended and ditches started. There was more rain yesterday, better than the day before.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported big Spot, Croakers, Stripers and a keeper Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Blues and Spanish.
Nags Head: Pinfish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and a Sea Robin.
Outer Banks: Spot and Croakers.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearhore anglers caught Bluefish, False albacore, Ribbonfish and Spanish. Flounder and nice Stripers were caught inshore.

Offshore Boats Report:
Even with the continuing rain the blue water fleet has decent catches of Yellowfin, Mahi and some Wahoo. Also 5 Billfish releases.

The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Sunny/rain, weak swell, light winds.
