Surf Fishing Report:
There were Spot, Croaker and Bluefish in Avon. Moving on down the beach Buxton had Sea Mullet and Pompano and Frisco also caught some Pompano. Hatteras reported Bluefish. There were some Croaker and Sea Mullet reported on this side of the inlet. Surf Fishing is overall slow. More of the same today. The water is cold at 67 degrees and it is murky.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Croaker, Trout and lots of Crabs.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Spot and Pinfish.
Jennette’s: Black Sea Bass, Spot and Croaker.
Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Lots of citations given for Red Drum releases yesterday and a Cobia Citation also.

Offshore Boats Report:
Not much to report from offshore. Only a couple of boats sailed. There were good numbers of Blackfin and some Mahi caught.

The winds are S at 9 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Mostly sunny, calm surf, breezy.
