Surf Fishing Report:
The surf fishing report for the summer will only include the north beaches from ramp 4 just north of the bridge to Corova. If something out of the ordinary happens on Hatteras Island I will let you know.  The fishing is slow. There are a few bottom fish and some Bluefish.
The winds are E at 6 and the water temp is 64 degrees.  We have overcast, small swells, waters fairly clear.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout, Black Drum, Pins and Pigs.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Exciting morning for Avalon. They have caught 30-40 Spanish and probably a 100 Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Some Spanish and Blues.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Spot, Croaker, Bluefish and a run of Sea Mullet off and on.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The Miss Oregon Inlet headboat had a good day catching Sea Bass, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Puffers, Pigs and Pins.

Offshore Boats Report:
All the boats sailed to the gulf yesterday and again caught a massive amount of Gaffer Dolphin and a sizable amount of Yellowfin. There were 2 Blue Marlin releases.
