Surf Fishing Report:
The south beaches had Sea Mullet and Pompano with some Blues and many Sharks were caught in Buxton. Hatteras also caught Bluefish, some Spanish and a few Flounder. There were Pigfish, Croaker and Spot on our beaches.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a keeper Flounder, Trout, Sheepshead and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Black Drum, Flounder, Bluefish and Croaker.
Nags Head: Spot and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Croaker and Black Drum.
Outer Banks: Small Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers caught Spanish, King Mackerel and Moonfish. Red Drum fishing continues to be outstanding.

Offshore Boats Report:
There was some heavy billfish action yesterday with 7 Whites and 1 Blue Marlin caught. Fair numbers of Yellowfin and Mahi returned to the docks.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 69 degrees. Sunny, small swells, light winds.
