Surf Fishing Report:
Off and on showers throughout the day on Sunday and this day have started the same. Fishing was slow with some Spanish and Sea Mullet in Avon. Buxton with Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Some Sea Mullet from our beaches caught with Sand fleas. There are Sea Mullet from the surf down from the Avalon Pier this morning.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported weekend Trout, Spot, Croakers and Stripers.
Robyn and Dave Wheatcraft had good catches of Sheepshead fishing Bonner Bridge this weekend. They were fishing at 8 pm and later and their fish were all 10 in and up.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Lost a small Cobia early
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Pinfish.
Outer Banks: Bluefish and Sea Mullet

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Weekend fishing was good for inshore and nearshore anglers. There were big Reds, Albacore, Cobia, Moonfish, Bluefish, Kings and Mahi reported.

Offshore Boats Report:
Sunday was the beginning of ladies only Alice Kelly Memorial tournament. There were 108 boats entered. 47 White, 14 Blue Marlin and 16 Sailfish were caught. The charters reported Yellowfin and Dolphin.

The winds are NW at 4 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Mostly cloudy, flat Ocean, calm winds.
