Surf Fishing Report:
Another day of beautiful weather, crystal clear water and gentle winds.
Sea Mullet and Spanish were caught south of the point. Avon had Sea Mullet, spot and Bluefish. The beaches further south caught Bluefish with Frisco adding some Flounder. On the north beach’s there are Spot, Sea Mullet, Croakers, Flounder, lots of Bluefish in South Nags Head, a 31 in Drum at the Inlet and all the way to the other end a nice Spanish was caught in Carova.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Croaker and some keeper Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Spanish, Triggers, and a 39 in Cobia tagged and released.
Nags Head: Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Orange Filefish. I have never seen an Orange Filefish. 2 Cobia tagged and released yesterday.
Outer Banks: Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Big Bluefish bite in the afternoon Thursday.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats reported Albacore, Bluefish Spanish and a Cobia. Lots of Sheepshead around the bridge pilings. In the channels open boats are catching Bluefish, Croaker, Sea Mullet and Flounder.

Offshore Boats Report:
It was day 3 for Pirates Cove Billfish tournament. 68 boats fished and there were 71 Billfish releases. The charters had a good day adding Dolphin, Wahoo and Tilefish to their boxes.
