Surf Fishing Report:
The Ocean is clear and calm and looks like Bahamas water. It has been a good week for beach lovers.
Fishing is slow overall. Sea Mullet and Pompano are caught along the beaches. Spanish and Bluefish on metal in Buxton. Hatteras has Pompano and Flounder. A few Sea Mullet, Pompano and Bluefish from Kitty Hawk to the Inlet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Croakers and throw back Trout

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, small Croaker and Spot. Caught a keeper 28 lb keeper Cobia yesterday.
Nags Head: No contact. Pier has a problem because of a lightning strike.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spadefish and Pigfish.
Outer Banks: Good Bluefish bite on artificial lures.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Near shore anglers decked Albacore, Spanish and Albacore. Trout and Flounder inshore.

Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore fishing is slow but it was still a profitable day with good catches of Mahi, Wahoo and Tilefish.

The winds are SW at 5 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Sunny, slick and clear Ocean, light wind.
