Surf Fishing Report:
I hope everyone is having a good Labor Day weekend and safe travels.
Fishing was fair from the beaches with Buxton reporting nice size Pompano and Bluefish, Frisco also reported Pompano. There were Sea Mullet scattered and Hatteras anglers beached Spanish and Bluefish. North of the Inlet there are Pompano, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow with some bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Spanish at daylight, Flounder.
Nags Head: Spot, Blues and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Spadefish and Sheepshead.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Spanish and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore had a great day on the water catching False Albacore, King Mackerel, Shark and trolling boats decking plenty Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore catching Spanish Bluefish and Cobia.

Offshore Boats Report:
It looks like the deep sea fishing is on. The boats limited out with Maui, plenty Yellowfin, some Blackfin and citation Wahoo. The bottom fishing anglers caught good numbers of Tilefish. There were White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases

The winds are NE at 5 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Sunny, unruly swells, light winds.
