Surf Fishing Report:
The south beaches reported Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Spanish. Good numbers of Spanish, Bluefish and False Albacore caught at the point.
North of the inlet had Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Overall slow.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported fishing continues to be slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Spot, Pompano and Black Drum.
Outer Banks: Spanish, Blues, Pompano, Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Anglers are catching Spanish, Blues, Moonfish, Red Drum and Cobia inshore and nearshore.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats returned to the docks with quite a haul of Mahi but the big news was Sailfish and White Marlin. There were 12 Sailfish and 9 White Marlin released and a citation Wahoo caught as well.

The winds are NW at 5 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Mostly sunny, clean swells, light winds.
