Surf Fishing Report:
We are lucky north of the inlet. We have no serious damage or flooding. I was seriously thinking of leaving in the very beginning but decided to ride it out. I never have but I would have had the storm headed directly to us. I thank everyone for your letters of concern. Re-entry for our locals began this morning at 8 am with a valid driver’s license or a dare county property tax bill. There are anglers fishing the piers this morning looking for the big ones. Avalon Pier caught 3 big Drum last night and reporting Bluefish, Spanish, Trout and a 32 in Drum today. No contact with the other piers.
The winds are E at 19 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Rough Ocean, windy, chance of thunder storms.
