Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is slow overall. A few scattered Sea Mullet.

The wind is NE at 15 and the water temp is 72 degrees. The ocean is choppy this morning and we have showers. Weather is expected to improve later today.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching Trout this morning with some keepers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Speckle Trout.

Nags Head: A good run of Sea Mullet and Blues.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Spot and Pigfish

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats caught a good amount of Specks, Blues, Sharks and Spanish. Fishing was good for nearshore anglers catching plenty of Bluefish, Spanish and Trout. The Headboat did well catching Puffers, Spot, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout and Flounder.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater Fleet decked some Dolphin, Yellowfin and a 159 lb citation Big-eye Tuna.
