Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish are plentiful on the south beaches. Occasional Trout and small Pompano reported. Puppy Drum at the Point. On the North side of Oregon Inlet there were Blues and Black Drum.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported lots of small Trout, a few keepers, Stripers, Croaker and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 1 45 in Red Drum, Trout, Sea Mullet and Croaker.
Nags Head: Croaker, Spot and Spades. 1 big Drum last night.
Jennette’s: Four Red Drum released early. Few Pompano.
Outer Banks: Slow.

It shouldn’t be long now before we start getting some bluewater reports.

The winds are NW at 17 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Sunny, choppy swells, windy.
