Surf Fishing Report:
There were Sea Mullet and some Blues scattered, a pompano at ramp 48, a couple of nice drum in Buxton. Frisco also saw some Trout caught. A few Sea Mullet scattered on the beaches from Kitty Hawk to the Inlet. Surf fishing has been challenging the last few days. A reminder, there is the Little Bridge, Wildlife Pier and the Nags Head city gazebo. Always a place to fish.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, some keepers, Stripers, Flounder and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Grass and more grass.
Nags Head: Nada.
Jennette’s: Black Drum, Bluefish, Pompano, Sea Mullet, few and small.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Blow Toads and Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore boats Trout, keeper Flounder and Red Drum. The headboat also sailed and reported Sea Mullet, Blues and Gray Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet said they had one gutsy captain to brave the elements yesterday and he caught his limits of Maui.

The winds are NE at 9 and the water temp is 78 degrees. Mostly sunny, breezy, nice swells.
