Surf Fishing Report:
With the torrential rains we were having yesterday, surf fishing was at a standstill. And then there’s Joe White, sending a message he was fishing in a squall and caught a Drum. Only got the foot size, but it was a nice one. Glad to get some Drum news.

Bonnie hung around an extra day but has now moved out. The rains were hard and heavy and there were 3 and 4 in some places.

The winds are NE at 6 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Small swells and fog ocean side. A little sun showing at my house.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Trout fishing this morning with some keepers. A keeper Flounder has been caught as well.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Small Spanish.

Nags Head: Spanish, Blues and Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish, Croaker and steady Spanish action.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Croaker.

Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats braved the weather yesterday and returned to shore with some Dolphin and Yellowfin.
