Today is the last day before the Truck leaves for Belhaven with the donations. We thank everyone that has taken their time to help with this project.

Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Pompano are scattered from ramp 23 to ramp 55. There were Shark, Puppy Drum and a couple of Red Drum at the Cape. Small Blues, Sea Mullet, some keeper Trout and Pompano from Kitty Hawk to the Inlet. I also got word there are some Puppy Drum and Trout in Nags Head this morning near the pier.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, nice 6.5 # lb Flounder, Striper and Trout. Some keeper Stripers have been caught this morning. Today is the beginning of Striper season. You can keep 2/day, 18 in minimum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish, Blues, Trout and Pompano. All clear water fish.
Nags Head: Blues and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Pompano, Flounder, Trout and Blues.
Outer Banks: Blues, Black Drum, some Spanish, Trout and Pompano. Clear water.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore reported Bluefish, plenty Spanish and some Red Drum. Bluefish inside the Inlet and Trout and Stripers in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
Weekend Fishing was good for the bluewater fleet. There were limits of Maui, Blackfin and one boat had their limits of Yellowfin Yesterday. Also Billfish releases

The winds are NE at 6 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Sunny, light winds, choppy swells.
