Surf Fishing Report:
There were some big Red Drum reported in Avon. Puppy Drum, Bluefish, Trout were reported from Buxton to Frisco. Pompano and Bluefish reported in Hatteras. We have lots of Trout on our beaches, all throwbacks. Pompano, Blues, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Spot.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, small Trout.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Spanish and Trout
Jennette’s: No Report.
Outer Banks: Spot, Mullet, Flounder, Bluefish, Trout and Spanish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore angler’s good numbers of Bluefish and Spanish plus some Kings. Inshore boats decking plenty Trout, Spanish, Flounder and releasing Red Drum. Stripers and Trout in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
Fall fishing is looking up. Limits of Dolphin gaffer and bailer. Yellowfin catches increasing everyday and Wahoo up to 43 lbs. And many Marlin flags were flying.

The winds are S at 4 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Sunny, light winds, clean swells.
