Surf Fishing Report:
It was a beautiful week on this sandbar. This morning is another day of fantastic weather with joggers and strollers taking advantage.
The Bluefish bite was good south of the Inlet with scattered Mullet and Pompano. We had the same with Timothy Smith sending pictures of whopping big Drum caught in Kitty Hawk.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Bluefish and some keeper Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and a 42 in Drum this morning.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Spades, Black Drum Spanish and Trout.
Jennette’s: Pompano, Black Drum, Trout and Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Spanish and Blues off the end, Pompano, Sea Mullet and Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore had good number of Spanish and Bluefish with inshore catching Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spot and Flounder. Sound anglers are catching Flounder, Sea Mullet, Trout and Striper around the bridges.

Offshore Boats Report:
The blue water fleet had a good showing of meat fish bringing in good catches of Mahi, Yellowfin and Blackfin. There was good Marlin action.

The winds are NE at 9 and the water temp is 78 degrees. Sunny, light winds, choppy swells.
