Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish were biting on all the beaches with Avon adding Puppy Drum and ramp 30 some Flounder. We also had Bluefish and some Trout north of the Inlet. I got a call this morning from a friend fishing in S. Nags Head and he is catching Bluefish, small Trout and a keeper Flounder.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Specks, Spot, Croaker and Striper.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Bluefish, Spanish and Spades.
Nags Head: Trout, Bluefish and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Puffer, Pompano, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet and Specks.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Spanish, Spot and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The boats stayed in the inlet yesterday and caught some Spanish and Bluefish. Flounder and Trout in the sound with Stripers around the bridges.

Offshore Boats Report:
I was told the seas were a bit choppy yesterday but the there were Blackfin and Yellowfin caught.

The winds are E at 14 and the water temp is 78 degrees. Sunny, breezy, choppy swell.
