Surf Fishing Report:
Fishing continued to be good yesterday with Avon and Buxton catching Spanish 2 to 3 lbs and Bluefish on metal and bait. Bluefish were caught every where all day. Frisco and Hatteras reported some Pompano, Trout and Specks with the Bluefish. We have on the north beach’s Bluefish, Pompano and some keeper Trout, Puppy Drum at the inlet. I am told there is bait every where this morning.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Striper and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Bluefish, Pinfish, Trout and one large Drum.
Nags Head: Trout, Bluefish and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: Spanish and Blues.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers are catching plenty big Spanish, Bluefish and false Albacore. Sound fishing is fair with boaters catching Trout and Stripers

Offshore Boats Report:
Not many boats fished yesterday but the ones that did were rewarded with plenty Blackfin Tuna and some Dolphin.

The winds are W at 9 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Sunny, light winds, flat and glassy.
