Surf Fishing Report:
The fishing news is scarce this morning. Surf fishing slowed considerably from the day before.
The cape reported big Drum, Puppies and Bluefish early morning. Thomas Mitchell said he cycled through blood worms, Shrimp and cut bait for 5 hours in southern shores and caught nothing. Just as I was about to say I was sure there were some Blues scattered on our beaches I received a picture from Kathleen Hotte at 8:30 am. That’s what keeps this fishing report going. People participating. Sending news and pictures.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Lots of Bluefish and a couple of Red Drum.
Nags Head: Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet and Trout.
Jennette’s: No contact.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Bluefish, Trout and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No Report.

Offshore Boats Report:
Yesterday was another blow day and the fleet stayed tied to the Dock.

The winds are W at 13 and the water temp is 65 degrees. Sunny, breezy, clean swells.
